AB Recipe: Moo Shoo Pork Wraps
This is a terrific easy and healthy recipe! We like to serve it with an Asian side salad of spinach, oranges, almonds and sesame dressing.
1 lb ground pork
2 bags pre made cabbage cole slaw mix or broccoli slaw mix
1 package match stick carrots
garlic or garlic powder
diced onions or onion powder
1 Tbs soy sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
Saute the pork until fully cooked. Stir in soy sauce, garlic, onion, and brown sugar. Set aside. In a separate pot, saute the cabbage cole slaw mix, onions and carrot sticks until blanched. Add in cilantro and scallions. This will shrink down considerably. Combine the pork and veggie mixture. Serve in a warm tortilla with a spoon full of hoisin sauce. Hoisin sauce is where all the magic is, but you do not need very much. Add hot sauce too if you like.
Veggie Version: Keep the veggies separate and add in some fresh lime, peanut butter or peanuts, for added protein.
