What's it REALLY like...
Saturday afternoon, 4:30 PM, the bus pulls into the
Holiday Inn in downtown Salt Lake City. Molly-that's the
bus, is clean, equipped with gear and food gathered
earlier. We greet the guests, most likely 12-15 folks
from all over the world, help them load their gear onto
the bus, and we are off! First stop, dinner an hour or
so down the road. Then we continue the journey on to
Zion National Park, Yellowstone, or Moab, depending on
the tour! While the bus safely rolls down the
highway with you or your co-driver at the helm, the
guests chat, get to know each other and then drift off
to sleep in their bus beds. Some time in the night,
usually between 12-1 AM, the bus stops and everyone
sleeps soundly for the rest of the night. 6:30 AM, you
or your co-worker, whomever didn't do the night shift
drive, will set up the kitchen equipment and brew
fresh cowboy coffee, chop up fresh fruit salad and flip
pancakes or french toast with the help of the guests.
Lunches will be packed, maps handed out with
descriptions and recommendations for what to wear, see
and do, and they are off to enjoy a day of sight seeing
and hiking. And maybe you too! We'll gather in the late
afternoon and head to our next destination which may be
another night drive away, or just a few hours. Nights we
do not drive, we enjoy cookouts, campfires, roasting
marshmallows, star gazing, hot springs, and good
company! Before you know it, a week or more of
incredible sights, great conversation with new friends,
driving 1200 miles, and fun has gone by and you deliver
the guests back to Salt Lake City! If this is how you
would like to spend your summer, give us a call!

Benefits:
Payment will be discussed during the application
process. Most of your meals will be included. Housing
may be provided between certain tours. Tips are divided
among driver/guides and are typically good, but not a
guarantee. It is a fact that you won't make a lot of
money working as a driver, but the people you will meet,
and the places you will see will change you forever.
