Glacier - Sawtooth Adventure

Trip Highlights
Glaciers, snow capped mountain peaks, clear mountain rivers, hot springs, grizzlies (from a distance we hope!) moose and more! We'll explore the stunning Sawtooth National Recreation Area of Idaho and Montana's Glacier National Park on this one of kind adventure!

 

Itinerary
 

 

Day 1
Depart Salt Lake City 2PM... We start this fantastic trip by picking up you and your fellow Adventurers in Salt Lake City. We'll prep you for your adventure and then enjoy a comfortable journey to our first destination...

Day 2-3
Sawtooth National Recreation Area... Wake to views of the stunning Sawtooth Mountains, We'll hike and explore near Redfish Lake before enjoying a delicious cookout and a soak in a hot springs along the crystal clear Salmon River. On Day 3 we'll mt bike, raft the Salmon, horseback, or hike, your choice! We'll enjoy another soak before we head off to our next great destination....
 


Day 4-7
Glacier National Park... We'll establish a home base near the West Entrance of the park and begin our exploration! With the parks new shuttle system, it is easy to get around! Each day we'll have suggestions for hikes and optional activities such as scenic boat rides and rentals, bike rentals and more. We'll get the low down on where the best wildlife action is and of course the best scenery, but we think both will be hard to miss! Our explorations will take us to Lake McDonald, the famous Highline Trail, the Going to the Sun Road, Hidden Lake Overlook, Logan Pass, St Mary's and Virginia Falls, and so much more. The shuttle system will make it easy for you to explore on your own if you wish as well!

     


Day 8
We'll roll back into Salt Lake City mid morning, and say our goodbyes.
