Day 1
Depart Boston... We start this fantastic trip by picking up you and your fellow Adventurers in Boston. We'll prep you for your adventure and enjoy a ride up the coast with a stop in historic Freeport, Maine and continue on to camp out near our first destination...

Day 2
Acadia National Park...We値l spend our first day in Acadia National Park hiking the North Ridge trail up Cadillac Mountain for breathtaking views of Maine痴 rocky coast line.

Or, you may rent a bike and enjoy over 45 miles of carriage roads that wind through the park. In the evening, we値l relax in the seacoast town of Bar Harbor and enjoy some local seafood fare.

Day 3
Acadia National Park...Time to hit the open sea! Rent a kayak and explore the coastline looking for harbor seal and puffins or venture further out into the ocean on a whale watch. Later, we値l head inland and set up camp and warm our toes around an open campfire.

Day 4
September is a great time to white water raft in Maine! The water is high and still warm
from the summer sun. We値l ride the rapids past leaves just begining to change color
and enjoy a riverside lunch. Not up for rafting? Enjoy the leaves on a local hike instead.

Day 5
Appalachain Trail in Grafton Notch State Park...
Here痴 your chance to hike part of the famous Appalachian Trail! Choose between several hikes of varying levels that will take you past waterfalls and spectacular views of the nearby White Mountains. Spend the evening spying on moose on a sunset pontoon boat cruise on beautiful Lake Umbagog.

Day 6
Multi-Sport Free Day...
The foothills of the White Mountains are filled with many scenic rivers and trails perfect for exploring and wildlife viewing. Enjoy a leisurely day of canoeing, kayaking, biking, or hiking. Later, we値l enjoy a scenic ride to camp near our next destination...

Day 7
Mt. Washington and the White Mountains National Forest...
Mt. Washington boasts the world record for highest wind speed (231MPH!) as well as some of the coldest temperatures ever recorded. Fortunately for us, September is still very pleasant.  We値l attempt to reach the summit on foot or in our AdventureVan, (weather depending) for incredible views of the Presidential Mountain Range. We値l also explore Crystal Cascade and Thompson Falls in the Pinkham Notch area before settling in for our last night of camping.Click here for information on Mt. Washington (www.mountwashington.org)

Day 8                                                                                                                                                              We'll return you to return you to Boston by mid morning and say our goodbyes. If you plan on spending the rest of the weekend in Boston, we suggest walking the historic Freedom Trail past Paul Revere痴 home, the Old North Church, and the USS Constitution. Or, rent a car and head south about an hour to Plimouth .
