Trip Highlights
Death Valley and the rest of the Mojave are national treasures,
frequently too hot to visit during the traditional vacation months. This
affordable Las Vegas based trip is a great off season getaway that
runs from Monday morning to Friday afternoon/evening. Parks visited
include: Death Valley NP, Red Rocks NCA, Mojave Nat'l Preserve, Mitchell
Caverns SP and Joshua Tree NP.
Itinerary

Day 1
Depart Las Vegas 9am... We start this fantastic trip by picking
up you and your fellow Adventurers in Las Vegas. We'll prep you for
your adventure and then enjoy a comfortable journey to Red Rocks
National Conservation Area. We'll explore a colorful red sandstone canyon
that beckons hikers to scramble to their sun-warmed walls
After a fun day in the park, we'll journey to Death Valley for a
sunset cookout and campfire. |

Day 2
Death Valley National Park Awaken to the smell of
fresh coffee and a hot breakfast before we begin our tour of the
largest National Park in the lower 48. We'll begin at the stunning
overlook at Zabrieski's Point and hike down Golden Canyon. Then it
is off to Badwater Basin, the lowest spot in the U.S., at 282 BELOW
sea level. |

Day 3
Mojave National Preserve Cacti of all kinds carpet
this park! We'll explore the truly unique geology and petraglyphs on
a hike near Hole in the Wall, and then take a
tour of Mitchell Caverns, a state park within the boundaries
of Preserve. Tonight, we'll rest our heads in a forest of Joshua
Trees! |

Day 4
Joshua Tree National National Park A playground for
kids of all ages, climbers, hikers, and boulderers love Joshua Tree! If you love technical hiking, this
is a hike you'll never forget. Stick to the trail, or scamper around
on the boulders! Either way, you'll never know what lizard, bird, or
blooming cactus may be hiding around the next bend! We'll explore
Hidden Valley, Barker Dam, Skull Rock, or for a bit more of a
challenge, hike up Ryan Mt for a panoramic view of the park.

Day 5
Oatman AZ Get your kicks in Oatman on Rt 66.
Just make sure it isn't from a wild burro wandering the streets
begging for fresh carrots! If time allows, on out way back to
Las Vegas, we'll swing by Hoover Dam and Lake Mead.
