Things to Bring
Click Here For A General "Things To Bring" List   Click Here For A "Things To Bring" List for Mtn. Bikers

The single most important rule in adventure travel - and especially on Adventurebus is this ... Don’t bring anything that you are not ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN you will need! WHY?  Because it will lessen your enjoyment of the experience!  More "frustration" is created by having to deal with "things" than any other factor.  That and with all the livestock we carry, it can get cramped... Just kidding.
Gear:
Shoes: Hiking boots or sturdy sneakers, sandals (Teva type) to wear into the water (no flip-flops)
Flashlight/Torch (headlamps are the most handy)
Day Pack: small backpack to hike with
Warm sleeping bag 15-30 deg. (nights at 8000 ft get chilly... we rent super-warm bags for $30)
sun screen, insect repellant, sun glasses, hat, winter hat (for chilly campfire nights)
Water bottle or Hydration Pack (Camelbaks and other hydration backpacks are one of the best  inventions ever, or so we like to think! Most bladders can be put in any backpack as well!
Extra Money - $20 per day recommended
Towel
Camera and film (you’ll use more film than you think.... on average 1 roll per day! :) )
Toiletries

Gratuities/Tipping: Don’t Forget Your Drivers
They keep you pumped up with early mornin’ coffee, make you laugh, show you amazing things, tell everyone they did it when it was really you that had gas, lead you to hot springs, and drive all night till their eyes are a beautiful shade of red. Try not to forget them at the end of the trip, as we don’t really pay them, we just compensate them with peat moss and disco fever. Standard gratuity is 10-15% of trip cost split between your 2 guides/drivers. Throughout your trip, you may also want to tip the guides on your various extra activities such as rafting and jeeping.

Our Credo in Nature

We are great believers in leaving the areas that we visit in as untouched a condition as is possible. We encourage everyone who travels with us to respect the land, the people, and their fellow travelers. This type of focus leads to amazing experiences and insights that bring a sense of satisfaction, which is difficult to create any other way, so be thinking responsibility, consideration, and FUN!
