Stephanie Emery
Lead Guide
Driver and Cook
My first Adventure Bus trip was the Best of the National Parks adventure back in June, 2002. Within 5 months, I had taken 3 more trips, and I just couldn’t get enough! Kyle and Ardell knew I had the AdventureBus spirit so they let me come back  for 18 trips in the 2003 season as a guide and head cook. Apparently that still wasn’t enough to satisfy me, so in January of 2004, I packed my bags  in West Paris, Maine, flew out to California and took over the whole darn company. Now I run it with Ardell. You’ll find me on most of the trips mixin up some homemade guacamole, starting a campfire, hiking in a canyon, or even driving the bus!

Ardell Hollobaugh         Lead Guide
Driver and Cook
BackwoodsDemigod
Ardell began guiding for AB in 2002, and has been an Adventure Guide for over 13 years. He hails from Newark, Ohio and Southern California. He loves trout fishing, eating buckets of fried chicken, and collecting stuffed moose from thrift stores. He makes a mean pot of Cincinnati Chili and Cajun Gumbo and delivers us safely to our destinations while we sleep soundly through the night (with a little help from Dr. Pepper) He’s super handy at changing tires, provoking buffalo stampedes, and running the company. Curtis Tronolone
Lead Guide
Driver and Cook
Originally from up-state New York, our newest addition to the AB crew has spent the last two years in Wyoming working for NOLS, driving their  recycled vegetable oil bus. Aside from handling
the big-rigs, he also enjoys horseback riding, climbing, road biking, hiking, mountaineering, and good music. When not on the road, he escapes the every day by kickin back for a current episode of the Real World. He hopes to see you on your escape from the real world on the Adventure Bus!

Minette Ozaki
Mt. Bike Guide
Minette came to us in 1999 as a Mtn bike passenger and again, caught the Adventure Bus travel bug. Now, after honing her bike skills to the competitive level, and putting several 24 hour solo races under her saddle, race schedule allowing, she guides Adventure bus Mtn bikers through the most beautiful and challenging single track trails in all of Utah. Come for a ride with "MO" and
you will be begging for mo'!

Kyle Lapp     Founder/Former Owner
World Traveler
Kyle founded Adventure Bus on the belief that cubicles and time cards are things one might find in hell. He knew that the real world exists outside in Gods Country, so he created a company that could take the average Joe or Jolene as far away from work as possible. Kyle states “The 6 years I spent running AB were the best and during that time I found more life, love and adventure than I could ever imagine. My greatest joy has always been watching discovery form on the faces of AdventureBus riders as we take them to amazing places they have never heard of, or wonderful places they have dreamed of for years.”  We hope to see him back on the bus again soon!
