How We Travel
 All Aboard! The AdventureBus is leaving, and this is one
experience that you don’t want to miss. Founded on the principle
that getting there is more than half the fun, AdventureBus
offers you a radical twist on the classic bus tour. With a
converted bus as your new home on wheels, we roll from town to
town, taking in the sights, playing outside, cooking
mouthwatering meals and relaxing as the miles speed by. As
former owner and founder Kyle Lapp explains, "If how you get to
your destination is as important as the destination itself, then
our trips are for you."

About
the Adventure Bus
The interior of our buses are extremely unconventional -
In a good way! With the seats removed, our buses have been
converted into lounge areas complete with pillows, a stereo
system and an ice chest for beverages. As night falls and we
return from another exciting day of adventure, the tables
and couches convert into comfy cozy bus-beds. There you can
do a little light reading from our bus-library, play some
cards with your friends while listening to groovy bus tunes
on the bus-wide sound system or drift off to sleep while we
cruise on down the road. By morning, our drivers will have
delivered us to the next wonderful place to explore,
wherever it may be!

 The story behind AdventureBus
The story behind AdventureBus is refreshingly simple. As former
owner Kyle Lapp explains, "I started AdventureBus so that I
could have people to play with." A lifetime of travel had
convinced Kyle that the road was a great place to meet people,
and he decided that founding a tour company would be the ideal
way to help travelers of all ages meet new friends. Traveling in
the modified AdventureBus had two major advantages in Kyle’s
mind. A firm believer in the old adage "the more the merrier,"
Kyle correctly predicted that buses would enable him to draw a
greater number -- and a wider variety -- of people. In addition,
the ability to sleep onboard gives tours the ability to cover
monotonous stretches of highway at night, saving the days for
relaxation and fun. Now Stephanie and long time guide, Ardell run the company.
Very Different...
AdventureBus specializes in unconventional road trips
that celebrate both the journey and the destination. According
to Kyle, the "folks that are signing up are not necessarily
there for the destination, but for the experience and the
people. It is a very social trip." A strong bond quickly forms
between travelers, and while a trip begins with 15-20 or so
strangers, it usually ends with a "family" of travelers. The
flexibility of an AdventureBus trip also makes us unique. Once
the bus has parked for the day, you are free to do whatever you
please. While some may choose to hike, bike and kayak, others
can simply read a book, chat, go for a swim or nap beneath a
shady tree. Evenings might be spent relaxing in hot springs,
sitting around a campfire, or, if the group wishes, we might
drive into town and invade the local cowboy bar, bowling alley,
pool hall or movie theater. With buses that can carry 15
mountain bikes, as well as many other toys, an AdventureBus trip
is the perfect excuse for as much -- or as little -- activity as
you like. AdventureBus trip is for everybody that likes the
outdoors, nature and meeting other great people. From CEOs to

where you want to be - we take you away! The hiking and biking
trips we offer are designed to take you to the most beautiful
and exciting spots one could wish to visit in North America. We
prefer, when possible, to camp and explore off the beaten path,
near lakes, rivers and beaches. Our itineraries are flexible and
our drivers/guides always seem to have something fun and new up
his or her sleeve with each new adventure.
